[a sigh, followed by some coughing] No reason, Lopmon. Just forget about it.

O-okay... I can stop [cough] c-coughing any time [hack] n-now...

[ she lets him go so she can rush over and get the cough medication, sitting down beside him again and patting his back a little more, not really all too sure of how else she can help.

she's worried, though. she's so worried. ]

[luckily he catches his breath just long enough to take it. a lot more coughing and some strained breaths later, he finally, finally stops, hunched over with a red face for an entirely different reason than the little kiss they shared earlier.]

S-sorry...

It's all right ... I'm glad the coughing has finally calmed down for you.

[ she hands him some of the cough medication. ]

[nods, taking it and making a face]

Th-thanks...

[ugh. tired. damn you illness. ._.]

[ puts the cough medication away and returns to him, gently pushing him so that he could lay down, laying down beside him herself.

... the urge to kiss him again hasn't gone away.

[lays down without protest, but tugs on her arm a little so she'll lay down next to him.]

[ it won't take much for her to lay down next to him. she does so and snuggles up a little beside him, pulling the blanket over both of them. ]

[he does want to kiss her again, but the pounding headache and aching lungs is making that a little difficult for him.

so he'll take cuddling for now, even if he still coughing every so often.

just as he starts to fall asleep, he mumbles something to her that is a little hard to catch, considering he's mumbling in to the pillow.]

[ blinks a little, a bit sleepy herself. ]

What was that, Kazuma-kun ...?

I dun' wanna get glasses...

... I think you'd look cute in them. [ she's giggling again. ]

[and he's blushing again]

But I don't like 'em...

[ she blushes, then leans in to press a short, soft kiss to his lips. it only lasts a moment before she pulls away. ]

Try not to worry about it so much right now? We couldn't take you to see an eye doctor in your current condition anyway.

[ she's so flustered from that, and wondering just where she got the courage to do it to begin with. the butterflies in her stomach aren't helping at all. ]

[it gets him to open his eyes again, looking up at her with the exact same blush on his cheeks. he smiles a little, then buries his face back in the pillow.]

Okay...

[ smiles and closes her eyes, feeling herself falling asleep. ]

Just focus on feeling better for now, Kazuma-kun ...
